2013 Rose Grey Mare 16.2 hands Race Record: 2:0-0-0 Last Race: 3/4/2017 Adoption Fee: 8500.00 Information about horse: Spice has been owned by an Amateur Adult advanced beginner for the last few years. She has been consistently shown Hunter under saddle always placing in the ribbons, with several Championship and Reserve Championship ribbons under her belt. While she does have limited exposure showing over fences the few times she has competed in cross rail and 18" vertical over fences divisions she placed in the ribbons. She has willingly schooled small fences on cross country, and dabbled in Intro level dressage shows. This BIG bodied mare is 16.2 hands and wears a 52" girth. She has a solid walk trot canter with flying lead changes about 90% of the time. Spice has been extensively trail ridden often being in the lead for less experienced horses, however on unfamiliar trails while she will lead, she would prefer not to. She will happily ride in a western or english saddle. Spice is the type of horse that will get you noticed in the ring and on the trail. Super smart and willing Spice is the total package. She is best suited for a confident advanced beginner adult or teenager. On the flat she rides well in a lozenge loose ring snaffle. Out on the trail and jumping we switch between the lozenge and a slow twist, Spice can get heavy on the forehand if allowed too.
