2014 15.3hh Grey Gelding Race Record: 11:1-1-1 Adoption Fee: 500.00 Sometimes when you rehabilitate horses, you get in a case that breaks your heart. Quick Learner or (Levi) as we call him is one of those. This handsome boy checks all the boxes. Chill, brave, good feet, easy to handle, the only box he doesn't check is a big one "Sound." Levi is not and probably will not be fully sound. He is pasture sound and trots around with the other horses. We have injected his knee with steroids with no significant change. He has a knee chip and some related arthritis. If he is a pasture companion he is fine barefoot without maintenance. If someone wants to put in the money and effort he may be sound enough to walk around on the trail as long as the terrain isn't to hard. He is a special boy and a farm favorite but he needs a person to love and spoil him. So if you have extra space in your pasture and are interested please contact me. Located in Elkin, NC
